Seiko sbdc033 (Blumo) and Seiko sbdc057 (Pepsi) use the same dial?

It seems that the sbdc057's dial is iridescent....

Where to find the best parts movt for the 6105b?

Well as some of you know..i am putting back together a nice early 6105-8110...but i have a damaged movt and decided to try and fix it...parts for it seem to be very elusive and i know some of the 6106 17 jewel parts are the same...but are these other movts like the 6117 and others that share some parts?...without the service manuals i am at a loss...thanks in advance God Bless,John
i do have a nice 6306a at my disposal...but not sure if anything from it is shared as well...

Hi All, i read with interest a post between two members ref 7t32 Seiko model watches and the clones that use similar movements often selling at reasonable prices on the likes of Ebay etc and was wandering if any members new if the same had ever been done for the 7t34range tho i suspect not? Also would any members know if the 7t36 circuit board would fit the 7t34? I know the 36 has the moonphase added but it still has the cronograph dial outside of the moonphase and id imagine the moonphase part is operated by a difference on the mechanical side rather than an electrical one on the circuit board?-the circuit boards look extremely close and tho iv not yet attempted to fully fit does appear to sit in place- Any views or help on the above greatfully received, Jakson.

Stiff (strong resistance) rotating bezel

My sumo have a strong resistance of rotating the bezel. I noticed this when I first got but wasn’t sure this normal until I purchased a second sumo which the bezel has a lot less resistance to rotate and it can be rotated with just one thumb. And this one I have to squeeze with significant pressure with two fingers to get it rotates. So the question is. Without removing the bezel can I put a tiny drop of silicon lube where the red arrows in this picture with any silicone lube?

I bought it thinking that it fit a speedtimer. Maybe it does? It seems to fit the 19mm lugs of the 6106-8100 perfectly.






Any ideas?

For sale my 7a38-7020. I took a gamble on this one but unfortunately it didnt really pay off. I hoped, against my better judgement, that the bracelet would be complete but one of the halves is missing. Thats the reason why im letting it go for so little.

The watch works well and all the chrono functions work good as well. The watch is in original but used condition, check the pics. The watch will only come with one of the bracelet halves. Thanks for looking!

Just received this one today. The dial is just incredible. Had they left the X off.......

Problem is.....

I have never been a Monster guy. I am a Seiko fiend, but not a Monster fan.

My wife loves this one. The last time she loved one I was on the fence about, was a White Knite. It turned out to be one of my favorites.
If I flip now, I return a lot of my money. But... She was correct the last time?

My question for you fellow WIS: What would you do???

This is a discontinued, hard-to-find-in-this-condition Orient Sub 2ER00004D. It is almost NOS (display piece) and in complete set: outer box, inner box, manual, guarantee card, tags, hologram sticker, and with traces of the protective plastic still on the end links

40mm case diameter, 20mm lug width
Screw down crown
Gold plated SS bracelet, fold-over buckle with safety
Blue dial with gold lined indices, blue insert
Gold plated SS bezel with blue insert and gold inlays
Unidirectional bezel clicks perfectly
Service history is unknown

Service history is unknown, but just like with any Orient, the watch runs with a few shakes.

Up for sale is my SRP773J1. Yes this is the “made in Japan” version. Watch has some markings on the back near the lugs from strap changes. Polished sides of the watch is clean and overall the watch is mint. No dents or dings. Watch comes on the original bracelet that is still wrapped and not sized. I will also include a brand new Uncle Seiko GL831 strap. Amazing remake from Larry.

Dial, bezel and chapter ring all line up.

Watch was purchased in December 2018.
