SRPC23K1 vs SRP777
Hey Guys - longtime lurker first time poster.
Anyone have any experience with both of these watches? My understanding is that the srpc23 is the "successor" to the srp777. Have any of you owned both? Impressions of one vs the other?
Looks like the srpc23 has an anthracite/sunburst grey dial while the srp777 is more of a flat grey.
Any opinions would be appreciated!
Thanks!

New Guy Looking to Share His Love of Bellmatics
Hey all, looking to get more involved in the forums here and figured I'd start out with sharing a photo of my brown bell. It was recently serviced by Vintage Time Australia and while it has seen better days cosmetically, it keeps great time and I just love that brown dial. I have a blue one too that I'll post later once I have a decent photo of it. Watch photography isn't my forte so that may take some time, haha. I also see that Citizen Alarm watches are welcome here. If that's the case, I'll post a photo of mine as well. Anyways, thanks for looking.

FS - Seiko 7002-7009 150m Diver - $125/shipped!
Selling my Seiko 7002-7009 150m diver dating to November 1992, which is excellent original condition with correct Hong Kong dial, flat hand set, large pip bezel insert and scratch free Hardlex crystal. The case has never been polished, with no major scratches or gouges, bezel is tight and rotates with firm clicks, timekeeping is spot on and date changes over precisely at midnight. Lume still glows nicely and hands/indices die off at the same rate. These North America versions don't come up for sale very often, especially in this condition, so asking $125/shipped in the ConUSA only and no PayPal, sorry.
Thanks for looking!
Mike

STOMHLC (State Of My Humble Little Collection)
So I started my journey down the slippery slope of WISdom 4 months ago with that gold dialed beauty in the center of the group. This is what I've accumulated so far. And a few goodies coming soon. No rhyme or reason here, just acquiring what trips my trigger so to speak, within my means. No big grails in this box but I ain't done yet. :) Thanks to all who have supported me so far and I look forward to growing along side you fine gentlemen. :Woot_Emoticon: It's all your fault!

SLA025 owners
Evening everyone,
Hope you're all having a terrific weekend. I've read quite a bit about the limited edition Seiko SLA025 dive watch (the re-creation of the 1968 piece) and I'm hoping to hear from owners and Seiko enthusiasts.
What do you all think about the watch? If you own it, how accurate is the 8L55 movement? Does the piece feel solid, is the winding smooth? All the pertinent little details that we all consider when making a purchase.
I've read mixed reviews, some people loving it others balking at the price and asserting that the 8L55 is an unadjusted movement. Lots of talk about all of the other watches a person could get with the same money, etc.
What do those knowledgable in the Seiko community know of the piece? Wrist shots and shots comparing it with other Grand Seikos or other brands are most appreciated. I have a chance to buy this piece brand new and I'd like very much some straight talk on the watch. Please hold nothing back, let's hear how you feel, good and bad.
Thanks very much, as always i appreciate the community's collective wisdom. Looking forward to your thoughts and photos. Take good care everyone. Speak soon.
Sincerely,
Chris

WTB Seiko 6105 Serial 26xxxx
Hi Everyone
I'm looking for a birth year and month 6105 diver i.e. serial starting with 26xxxx.
I know this is a long shot, but if you have one lying around or have fallen out of love with it, or just have too many watches and looking to consolidate your collection, please drop me a message to discuss.
I have a couple of other 6105s but I'm looking for that special one. I would consider to pay cash, or trade one of my 6105s (if you're like me looking for a particular serial no.) or my other seikos as necessary.
I can provide more details and pics if required.
Feel free to discuss. Thanks all in advance !

Music while tinkering
My workbench is set up in my garden workshop (posh name for shed but it did cost me £7k).
So when tinkering I normally listen to music.
Clapton, Knopfler, Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green era not that flimsy lot now) Sinatra, Gordon Haskell, Jethro Tull, Matt Monro (Sinatra once said, the only god damn limey that can sing...and he was right then) etc.
Anyone else and what music.
