I came across a Seiko 7019-6040 on Etsy from a seller that has been listing there since 2012. TimelyAffair, his name is Joshua Dizon from Baguio City, Philippines.

For that watch it's a great deal. His ratings were good on Etsy and he also lists his eBay ID as a reference which is also great. ( eezee_az123 )
After purchasing the watch I got a message from the seller that there was something wrong with the case and they would send a different watch, the same exact model but in better condition. What I received is a 6119-8450 which the seller tried to convince me to keep as it was 'better' and 'more valuable'.

I don't know anyone that would accept this as a substitute. Of course he got mad when I accused him of trying to scam me with a bait and switch. He did offer a refund, but expects me to cover shipping cost to send the wrong watch back. Seriously? I'm going to be out about $18 to send this back to him, and I won't have anything to show for it.

I want the watch I bought with the rotating inner bezel and bracelet as pictured, or my money back. You said you sent the same model and it's far from it. The one you sent is a common sports model, it has no inner rotating bezel and the bracelet is a common bracelet that's not even original to the watch. How do you want fix this ?

Message:Mr XXXXXXXX, I very much resent that you would accuse me of scamming you. The original watch that was pictured did NOT have an "inner rotating dial", it simply had a "speed ring". Its only a dial configuration. The watch I sent you is actually MUCH better than the original one you ordered, AND more valuable! Look again at the dial picture of the original and READ the description. Please show where their is ANY mention of an "inner rotating dial", or if you can see another crown to turn an inner dial, which it would require with an "inner rotating dial"! It states clearly "SPEED RING" which is only a little different dial configuration. The overall condition of the one you received is ALSO better than the other watch. It is slanderous of you to accuse me of "scamming" you when I have a near perfect 6 yr record of 3000+ International transactions. I am a Top Rated Power-Seller in ebay for 6 years. You do not achieve and keep that record by "scamming" people. Even the bracelet on the watch sent you is better (Jubilee) and of a higher quality than the other watch! The watch you got routinely sells for $150+ NOT counting shipping that other sellers charge. If you want to return it for a refund, I am VERY happy to get it back and I will refund it in full, but you will be responsible to ship it back registered with tracking, the same way you got it. That protects you as well as me, as tracking provides proof of delivery. Your turn. Kind regards,

Message:You are mistaken Joshua, The 7019-6040 is a rotating inner bezel. It is not a 'dial configuration'. I just want you to make it right. You sent a common sports watch instead of the one I purchased. The circled part is the 12 o'clock marker, it's not at 12 because the inner bezel rotates and is not centered. It's simple, I want the watch I bought or a refund. I did not buy a 6119-8450, I bought a 7019-6040. Send me a return postage label. You sent the wrong watch and I should not have to pay to send it back, it's not like you sent the watch I bought and I didn't like it, you sent the wrong watch. I'm a reasonable man, I have yet to leave feedback as I feel it's right to allow a seller to fix a mistake 1st. PLease fix this by sending me the watch I bought, or a return label to send this one back for a refund.

Just a heads up for you fellas. I would be wary of this seller seeing the crap he tried to pull with me. My guess is he sold the watch and forgot he had it listed on other sites and instead of cancelling and refunding when I bought it on Etsy, he tried to pass off what he had, or went and bought something to send to me. Either way he sent a lesser watch and tried to convince me to keep it instead. I have everything documented and already started claims with Etsy and Paypal. It may be a while but I should get my money back, minus the return postage.
