I ran across the attached today ... it’s available from a “vintage watch” dealer for a mere $779.

I may have to adopt this as my new avatar ... according to the seller, it’s a very rare model

FS: Citizen 800m Professional Titanium Diver 800€

I am offering Citizens bold answer to Seiko Tuna Can: rear, discontinued and desirable 800m Pro Diver in titanium from*1992.

Condition is*very good overall especially considering the age. Some light hairlines on case and glass (at 4) but you really need to look closely to notice, also the caseback has some marks from the changing the battery, but nothing major overall (check the photos please).

The watch is powered by 5503 quartz movement with a 5 year battery life. The case is made of TIN coated titanium (which can also be found on high end line guides for fishing rods) and is extremely resistant against abrasion and scratches, also giving the watch a very nice matt titanium look. The 60 click bezel has nice firm clicks. Massive tooth bezel protecting the insert and glass, bezel springs (clicking downards and counter clockwise), machined bezel insert numbers, applied indices, double locking safety battery mechanism are all showing that this watch was build as a proper tool to last.

Golden surrounding on indices, thick golden hands and bezel insert numbers combined with black dial and unique titanium case are giving beautiful and original appearance, especially under sunlight. You just cannot compare this watch with anything else on the market. It is a stunner. It is wearing great on nato, zulu, rubber or vintage leather.

It is a big, bold watch with 48 mm diameter, but the bezel is narrower (arround 42-43mm) and L2L is only 48mm so this watch is visually wearing smaller and is wearable on smaller wrist. Titanium lightness makes it even more enjoyable for casual wearing everyday watch. I did not used it for diving, sports activities, etc., this was my casual daily piece, therefore, I am not offering any warranties as a private seller.

Details:
Movement: Quartz / made in Japan, cal. 5503
Titanium case
Diameter: 48mm
Lug to Lug: 48mm
Thickness: 15mm
Uni-directional rotating bezel
Aftermarket NATO style strap
Mineral crystal
Screw-down crown

Asking price 800€ (PayPal net to me) + shipment (upon agreement)

EU seller, no additional customs for EU countries, I am not responsible for any additional customs procedure outside EU. Registered airmail with tracking or any other courier upon agreement.

The watch will come with original rubber strap, additional nato strap and Citizen generic box.

Feel free to ask for any info.

Thanks for looking.

Selling my Orange dialed Orient Mako, with two extra straps (includes original Mako rubber strap and metal bracelet also). Comes with original box and manual. Please check out the included pictures for further details (clicking on them should enlarge them). Watch is mechanically perfect, all functions up to par. I am the second owner. Watch is not cosmetically perfect, it does have scuffs on the bezel and some fine scratches on the crystal. All in all a nice solid watch that would make a nice daily wearer.

Asking $115 plus $10 for shipping and insurance to anywhere in the US. Or Best (reasonable) Offer. Not interested in selling to a collector from out of the country unless I know them. Shipping out of the USA will be extra.

Most Recent ebay Pickup - 6139-6005 circa 1977

I have enjoyed working on the cal 6139 movement so much I have been trolling ebay for some new projects and ran across this very nice Pogue with black dial. Seller had it on auction stating it needed service and the chrono minute hand was not kicking over but would sometimes work. Love these ones that need work as most people are put off. Original bracelet, very sharp case lines, dimpled crown, dial and hand lume looked excellent and crystal had some scratches. No pics of the movement.

On a gamble, I bid on the piece and won. Received the piece today and wow am I impressed. I opened the back and the movement is nice and bright, no water intrusion. I pulled the automatic works off and could see the chrono wheel trying to kick over the min counter via the min counter jumper spring, but was not able to jump a tooth on the gear for the minute wheel. A slight adjustment to the minute counter jumper spring and all is well. Keeping good time with some beat error and low amplitude needing service. Thinking seriously of leaving this one raw and unfinished other than a light polish with a polishing cloth, complete service and new crystal. Love the originality of this piece. Thoughts.

FS: Seikomatic J13044 from June 1963, $375

Almost done thinning the herd, so today I offer a 1963 Seikomatic J13044 20-jewel piece on original gatorback bracelet (fits a 7.5" plus wrist). Dolphin on the caseback and the clasp - maybe the first model to feature this!?! "Water Proof" on the dial, caseback, and clasp!

Very nice piece that I have worn sporadically over the past 1.5 years. Case is 36mm diameter and 44mm lug-to-lug. Very even and fairly artistic UV burn on the dial that gives it lovely vintage character, especially around the polished applied indices. Case is in great condition with sharp lines, caseback is worn but all details are still visible. Domed acrylic crystal is free of cracks with light scratches that show in sunlight. Bracelet is sweet and slinky; big scratch on the clasp over the dolphin and missing one of the outer link covers near the clasp, but nothing much to notice (it is 56 years old, you know). Keeps very decent time - maybe ~10 seconds slow per day - but it is consistent and may just need a light service if one desires.

$375 all in by regular PayPal, other arrangements may be made. Not looking to trade unless you are taking two of mine for one of yours. Thanks for looking and send a PM if you want more details.

FS: Two Seiko 6119-6023 Sports Divers $185 for pair

$

Selling my two Seiko 6119-6023s, the golden dialed one from June of 1971 and blue dialed one from January of 1972. Both are on period Seiko bracelets (although I can't confirm they are the original bracelets). Both watches work great and keep good time. Inner bezels move as they should (inner bezel on blue dialed one is missing lume from 12 O'clock). Both dials are in excellent shape, although both could benefit from new crystals. Selling as a pair. Please refer to pictures for details.

Neither is a safe queen. Both all original, cases have not been polished. Edges still crisp, but cases do bear the scars of daily use.

Caseback on blue dialed watch was "personalized by a prior owner

Golden dialed one has a bit of a scar from a faulty opener

Asking $185 for the pair. Shipping included for Domestic buyer. Or Best (reasonable) Offer. Not interested in selling to a collector from out of the country unless I know them. Shipping out of the USA will be extra.

FS: Enicar Seapearl- Early '60s? plus bonus $145

Selling my Enicar Seapearl. Lovely little mini compressor from the early sixties (as far as I can determine). It's an automatic and keeps excellent time. Crystal in great shape, dial has patina (see pictures). Strap is a faux alligator with a Seiko buckle.

Dial changes color according the light and angle. I would describe it as a light golden cream.

Case has some pitting, but not really noticeable on wrist. Looks terrible in some photos though!

Included in purchase is an Olma Caravelle in need of some fettling. I bought it from Nick Hacko to play with, but never did. It's from the era of the "Jewel Wars", it claims a whopping 41!

Delightful case back though!

Asking $145 for the Enicar (and the Olma), free shipping in the USA. Or Best (reasonable) Offer. Not interested in selling to a collector from out of the country unless I know them. Shipping out of the USA will be extra.

FS: Vostok Amphibia with a custom Murphy Bezel $110

Selling my Vostok Amphibia with a shimmering green dial. Has a Murphy Manufacturing bezel installed. Original bezel included. Currently on a black Maratac strap with a green stripe. Original bracelet, manual and case included. Watch wasn't worn much. Usually just on my birthday. Crystal could do with a polish. Plexi is nice for that. See pictures for details.

Watch keeps great time. Never an issue.

Asking $110 for the Vostok Amphibia, free shipping in the USA. Or Best (reasonable) Offer. Not interested in selling to a collector from out of the country unless I know them. Shipping out of the USA will be extra.

FS: Dec. 1964 Seiko Sportsmatic SilverWave 69799 30m $615

Selling my 1964 Seiko Sportsmatic Silverwave 69799.

Keeps decent time, probably should be serviced at some point (it is 54 years old). Clearing my collection of watches I don't wear, and frankly I'm afraid that I might damage this one.

I searched a while for this one and got lucky enough to find one when I had the funds available. I've enjoyed it, but it's time to rethink my collection (as you might see from my other sales posts).

New Pictures to better show the dials patina. Please take the time to carefully look at the pictures (click to enlarge).

Comes on a vintage "Squinky" (Bill Mahoney) Tropic strap. Inner bezel works as it should. Lume is missing from inner bezel at 12 O' Clock.

Asking $600 for the Silverwave, free shipping and insurance in the USA. Or Best (reasonable) Offer. Not interested in selling to a collector from out of the country unless I know them. Shipping out of the USA will be extra.
